The bank is a party to the dispute settlement scheme of the “Ombudsmann der privaten Banken“ (www.bankenombudsmann.de) consumer conciliation board. Through the board, consumers can bring their grievances with the bank for settlement to the ombudsman of the private banks. If the complaint is in connection with a payment services contract (Section 675 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), customers who are not consumers can also appeal to the ombudsman of the private banks.
